    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

     

    The Equity One Delta Technology Team is primarily responsible for the design, development and maintenance of high availability, high performance mission critical systems for order management and connectivity for exchanges across the Pan-Asia region. A highly motivated developer will receive exposure to a fast paced environment covering risk, program and agency trading businesses and spanning functional domains including direct market access, algorithmic trading, smart order routing, merchandising, business analysis, order management and exchange connectivity. As a developer in the Execution Technology team, your focus will be on the development of both front-end and server-side applications to aid in bringing efficiency to Sales-trading desk work-flows and focus on various equities High-Touch execution services initiatives to increase revenue opportunities. The successful candidate will apply a variety of technologies (C++, C#, Java, HTML 5, JavaScript, RDBMS, NoSQL, etc.) to tackle technical challenges, and will be rewarded the opportunity to shape the future of the strategic Sales-trading desktop platform in the Firm.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Basic Qualifications 

    • Excellent proven development skills and experience in server side and user interface development using C++, C# and/or Java (3+ years' experience).
    • Solid object oriented design and programming skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and motivation to develop a deep understanding of the equities business, its revenue channels, and work-flows.
    • Highly motivated, committed and capable of working to timelines.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work well with both technology groups and trading desks.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience of automated testing and build processes.
    • Experience in user interface design and development.
    • Familiar with modern web technologies: JavaScript, HTML 5, AngularJS, Node.js, D3.js.
    • Previous experience in a business-facing role at a financial institution highly preferred.
