YOUR IMPACT

  • Establishing and governing a critical new function within the Engineering organisation 
  • Driving and inputting into the firm's data modelling standards 
  • Championing data modelling standards across the Engineering organisation and holding internal groups accountable 
  • Governing the data model environment (e.g. ensure no duplication, ensure correct classes, identify common concepts) 
  • Reviewing data models and providing subject matter expertise 
  • Governing data model certification, including adherence to standards, driving any required changes in the organisation, issuing and tracking findings 
  • Build upon existing GS platforms such as PURE and DataLake

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Contribute to critical regulatory deliverables and alignment to principles set out by Basel Committee / Bank for International Settlements 
  • Contribute to the firm's overall uplift in data integrity, acquiring knowledge of Enterprise Data Governance, tooling and workflow 
  • Contribute to risk mitigation by understanding obligations, agreeing consumer requirements and onboarding data to the framework 
  • Become a strong architect building multi-tier, service oriented platforms

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of software development experience 
  • Independent thinker, willing to engage, challenge or learn

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
