RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Position Overview

 

This position is primarily responsible for Service delivery, Project management, HRIS management, Vendor management and governance and Risk management. 

 

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in the above areas, and should be from a large consulting/outsourcing company or in-house at a large multi-national company.  The candidate must also have experience operating in a fast paced environment, in managing large external vendors, working with global teams and must work with a high sense of urgency.

 

Job Summary and Responsbilities

  • Accountable for effectively managing vendor relationships and governance
  • Identify, report and mitigate/resolve any vendor risk in timely manner to reduce the firm’s exposure to undue risk
  • Responsible for vendor budget spend, reporting and governance
  • Support global operational processes and ensure data integrity
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of HCM data and validation mechanisms in each system; works with technology partners and HR Ops vendors to investigate issues & queries, assess impacts and formulate and propose solutions as required.
  • Works with Global team members to provide advice / guidance to clients and stakeholders external to HCM (i.e. Payroll, Compliance).
  • Work with regional business coverage counterparts to continuously review cross regional processes and identify opportunities for consolidation / streamlining, with aim of developing a more comprehensive global support model where feasible.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and current operating procedures; assist the team to gather and document operational requirement, and ensure it’s integrated into our existing protocols and procedures
  • Participate in design of new HRIS systems, change requests and process improvements
  • Prioritize Change Requests to address software enhancement/defects, including describing requested change, business justification and preliminary impacts; review with management for approval
  • User acceptance Testing
