Goldman Sachs University oversees learning and development initiatives and programming for the firm. We educate our people on the Firm’s culture, orient and assimilate new hires, help our people design their career paths, provide opportunities for technical skill development, build awareness of diversity, and develop new and experienced managers and leaders. The Operational Strategy Team is responsible for developing and implementing operational initiatives and improvements that enable Goldman Sachs University professionals to prioritize learning strategy and design.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Orchestrate and manage operational components of Goldman Sachs University learning programs
  • Identify, communicate and lead initiatives that improve the way our team works and enhance the value that Goldman Sachs University delivers to the firm
  • Communicate and lead projects within Goldman Sachs University and across the broader HCM Talent organization
  • Partner with groups across global, diverse areas of Goldman Sachs to plan and execute high visibility, high priority learning initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback, conducting analysis, identifying opportunities and implementing program enhancements
  • Support development, implementation and management of team’s operational tools, templates and materials
  • Promote and champion the utilization of tools and processes in a consistent manner across the organization

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree required
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an operational, process-driven and/or analytical function
  • Excellent project management skills (initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control); manage/mitigate project risk
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present ideas verbally and in written presentations for diverse audiences
  • Capable of working in fast-paced environment – anticipating and managing change
  • Strong detail and results orientation
  • Proficient in excel (vlookup, pivot tables, basic if statements, charts, graphs)
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and effectively work with remote team members

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience and/or interest in learning and development/learning operations
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Advanced Excel (nested if statements, index & match, VBA)
