HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

The Global Talent Development team is responsible for evolving and driving the firm’s talent management strategies by taking a person-by-person approach to talent development.  The Vice President in Talent Development will play a critical role in working within the Human Capital Management (HCM) division and across all divisions and offices in Asia Pacific to support the firm's diversity mission to create an environment which attracts, retains and maximizes the development of its diverse community of employees. The position will report to the Head of Talent for Asia Pacific.

 

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage diversity initiatives including key leadership pipeline and manager effectiveness programs
  • Work closely with senior leaders and HCM business partners to provide thought-leadership and innovative solutions to address the firm’s diversity priorities
  • Monitor internal demographics and benchmark against external demographics to identify both proactive and responsive interventions to grow diversity and talent within the firm
  • Oversee and develop diversity communication strategies to increase the visibility of the firm’s efforts both internally and externally
  • Strategically partner with Talent Acquisition to help drive campus and experienced hire diversity recruiting strategy
  • Build relationships with key external diversity partners and manage participation in relevant conferences, benchmarking surveys and research guides
  • Consult with and act as adviser to the Affinity Networks across the region
  • Liaise with talent teams globally to ensure consistency of message, metrics and standards

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

  • Recognized impact in the design and delivery of talent management initiatives in the Financial Services industry preferred
  • Established professional networks within the Financial Services sector, diversity practitioners and talent management experts are a plus
  • Experience in Asia Pacific and Asian language skills preferred
