    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Job Summary & Responsibilities:

     

    • Work closely with the chief of staff to drive the strategy, key initiatives and projects of the Bengaluru Technology Division
    • Create, plan and manage divisional strategies for the Technology Division in Bengaluru
    • Develop content for leadership to leverage for various purposes – strategy, business planning, reporting and monitoring
    • Liaise across various divisions, BUs and disciplines as needed on variety of projects, to drive strategic outcome for the division
    • Program management comprising a set of weekly, quarterly and annual responsibilities, like reporting on key notables across business units on a periodic basis
    • Branding and communication both internally and externally. Manage leadership’s communication to the staff, and information flow into and out of the division/ region
    • Drive BCP related initiatives aimed at managing organization, functional, country and application risks
    • Own or co-own and execute management strategic, risk and compliance initiatives across the division
    • Strong analytical skills and comfortable handling large volumes of data and present information to senior management
    • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to drive discussions
    • Research the Technology footprint/trends in the financial sector, identify areas to invest based on observation and feedback
    • Generate ideas to make Goldman Sachs Technology division a differentiator among other peers and global Technology companies
    • Stay up-to-date with major global, regional and local events and work, and in turn communicating these to the right stakeholders
    • Very good networking skills required – should be able to leverage established networks to deliver work

    Basic Qualifications:

     

    • Post-graduation in business management, through recognised professional body and preferably graduation in technology or engineering
    • Preferably, prior experience in chief of staff role firms with coverage in the technology space
    • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with a  minimum 8 years of work experience, preferably already working in similar role and shown exceptional impact
    • Adept at researching on new and trending technologies and translating the industry knowledge to applying it at the firm
    • Excellent interpersonal, client relationship and communication (written and verbal) skills, including being comfortable dealing with people at a senior level
    • Energetic and passionate about the chief of staff responsibility
    • Sound management judgement and potential to lead team in future
    • Motivated self-starter, inquisitive, enthusiastic with impeccable attention to detail
    • Courage to challenge current practice and initiative to suggest new ways of working
    • Ability to cope with multiple demands on time and prioritize accordingly
