As a recruiter for our Engineering team you will be responsible for driving direct sourcing recruiting efforts, advising the business on best in class recruiting strategies, and developing an external network to understand the competitive landscape and hiring practices. Additionally in this role, you would develop and deliver an innovative, recruiting strategy to enhance brand awareness, and provide a robust and diverse pipeline of engineering talent for the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL
 
- Work with the team to develop, coordinate and execute a recruiting strategy for sourcing the best junior talent for a variety of engineering roles across Goldman Sachs
- Design strategy for our recruitment efforts to ensure we are providing our people with a diverse pool of engineering talent
- Take a data driven approach to developing new program strategies
- Attend engineering specific campus events, interviewing and evaluating candidates, making hiring recommendations and managing the offer process
- Educate and sell students on the opportunities and value proposition of joining Engineering at Goldman Sachs
- Manage intern and apprentice programs including training, events, process and offers
- Understand unique opportunities for engagement at universities and how most effectively we can assess talent and enhance strategic recruiting strategies
- Manage relevant metrics, such as budgets, headcount, off cycle hiring, recruiting successes, diversity initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Maintain and develop relationships with candidates, which includes providing information on the firm, recruiting process, and assessing areas of interest within the firm
- Partner across the HR function on various projects and initiatives
- Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking
 
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR
 
- Strong academic record with Bachelor’s level or equivalent required
- Demonstrated specialist experience in Graduate/Campus Recruitment/Talent Acquisition roles gained from working within investment banking/financial services industry required
- Must have experience of recruiting Graduate/Campus hires for Engineering/Technology sector
- Prior people management experience required
- Strong familiarity with recruiting life-cycle and processes required
- Experience of designing and developing recruiting strategies and marketing campaigns required
- Demonstrable involvement with process improvement and diversity/inclusion initiatives required
- Proficiency in MS Office package and experience with a wide range of applicant tracking systems and assessment tools/systems required
- Experience of project management, creating recruiting tools and testing/launching applicant tracking systems
- Must have experience of developing and managing budgets
- Experience of maintaining relationships with schools/universities/clubs/societies required
- Experience of dealing with external agencies and vendors required
- Must have experience of compiling and presenting/reporting key recruitment metrics which includes cost per hire, conversion rates
- Experience of planning and implementing internship programmes required
- Strong communication, organizational, sales and interpersonal skills  
- Ability to prioritize, flex, and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Proven relationship management skills across all levels and within a team
- Desire to learn new businesses and adapt quickly to changing needs
- Credibility to influence at the highest levels of the division and firm
