    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    JOB SUMMARY

     

    Working as an analyst/associate in the Research Merchandising team, focused on curating and communicating Goldman Sachs European Investment Research.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Curating Goldman Sachs Investment Research for use by a wide range of stakeholders 
    • Creating commercial, impactful summaries of GS research, joining the dots between macro and micro themes.
    • Engaging with traders, equity salespeople and research analysts to maximise commercial impact of GS research
    • Providing daily market colour for external and internal client groups, leveraging Investment Research content.
    • Developing strategies to maximise the impact of GS thought leading research amongst various stakeholders
    • Responding to internal and external client requests pertaining to GS research

     

    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

    • Strong academic background
    • Minimum of two years of work experience in a finance-related environment (preferably with focus on European equities). 
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English language is vital)
    • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
    • Strong client service orientation
    • Candidate must be an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to be proactive and prioritise
    • Must be intellectually curious and have the desire to develop financial markets knowledge
    • Ability to synthesis complex ideas in a concise, commercial written form
