    Legal, Compliance and Audit (LCA) Technology: Part of the People Technology division, LCA Technology provides engineering solutions that enable our business to manage the firm's regulatory and reputational risks.  In addition to being the largest consumer of data within the firm, we design and build innovative solutions that enable our business to identify and track risks, as well as creating intelligent preventative controls to protect the firm and our clients.

     

    As a member of the LCA Technology team you would have exposure to many different projects, some of which are listed below by way of example.

     Building a data pipeline to enable surveillance and monitoring of firm and client trading across asset classes.

    • Creating distributed platforms for the secure capture and processing of high volume unstructured data including email, voice and social media.
    • Developing intuitive user interfaces and streamlined workflows to capture data and facilitate measurement and management of financial and non-financial risk.
    • Implementing controls and developing forensics applications to prevent, detect and mitigate potential financial Crime.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
    • Experience with Java and RESTful services in Unix\Linux environments
    • Experience with web technologies, such as AngularJS or React
    • Experience with databases, SQL, and data models and structures
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to partner with stakeholders to define solutions
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with SpringBoot, Dropwizard, BPMN, Elastic Search
    • Experience with distributed processing platforms such as Kafka, and development of micro services architectures.
    • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
    • Knowledge of finance industry would be ideal but is not essential.
