    Consumer and Investment Management (CIMD)

    The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.

     

    Consumer

    Consumer, externally known as Marcus by Goldman Sachs, is comprised of the firm’s digitally-led consumer businesses, which include our deposits and lending businesses. It also includes our personal financial management app, Clarity Money. Consumer combines the strength and heritage of a 150-year-old financial institution with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a tech start-up. Through the use of insights and intuitive design, we provide customers with powerful tools that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity to help them make smarter decisions about their money.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    FULFILLING YOUR POTENTIAL

    • The qualified candidate will work alongside industry leading technologists and innovative product managers in a highly agile environment.
    • The candidate will work closely with our product team to develop process models for the customer experience and other business processes.
    • Ensure the models are aligned with the architecture principles as the models will be used as the basis for the code developed to support the processes.
    • Energetic, self-directed and self-motivated, able to build and sustain long-term relationships with clients and colleagues
    • Exceptional analytical skills, able to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
    • Strong desire to learn and contribute solutions and ideas to a broad team
    • Independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environments
    • Can manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
    • Ability to work closely with our product team to develop process models for the customer experience and other business processes
    • Familiarity standard modeling notations including Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
    • The candidate should have extensive experience with a BPM modeling tool (e.g. Signavio, TIBCO, JBPM, etc.) and be comfortable working with agile development methodology
    • Ability to work closely with IT peers and business/operational professionals to capture the details of the various business processes at a level that reflects the actual flow within the technical stack
    • Knowledge of Consumer Finance is not essential but experience in any of these areas may provide a candidate with some advantage
