    Job Summary & Responsibilities -

    • Enforce team rules such as WIP and any other process rules agreed upon by team. Ensure smooth and sustainable delivery at team level.
    • Protects team from uncontrolled expansion of work. Responsible for assessing team capacity communication and awareness
    • Support Product Owners in backlog prioritization and refinement to provide transparency of build scope and production releases.
    • Intake prioritized Epics and Stories in JIRA, all tied to Portfolio; act as JIRA Admins for Scrum teams
    • Remove impediments that require support from other teams or beyond team’s authority.
    • Guide and support on  user story and epic estimation.
    • Establish sprint cadence including daily standup, weekly grooming, demo, retro, etc.
    • Ensure intra scrum dependencies are tracked and managed
    • Establish and send out Agile reporting to all stakeholders.
    • Servant leaders who empower the teams and building high-performing teams by driving relentless improvement.
    • Observe and coach behaviors, roles, practices to promote collaborative Agile environment and overall team health
    • Exhibit and Promote Lean Agile mindset in working with people, process, and tools within the organization
    • Facilitate readiness and preparation for Quarterly planning


    Basic Qualifications - 

    • Over all 7 Years of experience in IT industry
    • At least 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
    • Knowledge of other approaches in the Agile space: Kanban, Lean, etc.
    • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, etc.
    • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
    • Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communication anywhere from the team level to C-level executives.


    Preferred Skills - 

    • 3 years of experience with scaled Agile (SAFe, LESS) in a hands-on leadership role (e.g., Release Train Engineer, Agile Program Manager)
    • Experience in Scrum Master and scaled Agile or transformation roles in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)
    • Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum and Agile, including training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc.
    • Active participant in the Agile community.
    • Minimum 3 Years of  Technical background – i.e experience with one programming language or infrastructure
