    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Are you passionate about working with teams, helping your teams achieve the best results, keeping people focused and on track, and making things happen? The Investment Banking Division (“IBD”) is looking for an administrative assistant with prior experience to support team members of all levels from managing director to analyst.

    Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Division aspires to be the leading trusted advisor and financier to our clients, which include corporations, financial institutions, financial sponsors, governments and public authorities and boards of directors and special committees.

     

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    • Proactive management of complex diaries, travel schedules and itineraries
    • Co-ordination of internal and external meetings
    • Professionally and confidently managing client communications in bankers’ absence; regular interaction with senior level executives
    • Timely and thorough processing of administrative tasks (e.g., time sheets, expenses)

     

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • Strong organisational skills
    • Highest attention to detail
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork; ability to work collaboratively
    • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and confidently
    • Responsive and professional telephone answering; accurate and detailed messages
    • Proactive, quick thinking; ability to take initiative and prioritise
    • Discretion; ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially at all times
    • Composure under pressure; ability to work in a dynamic environment
    • Preferably minimum of 2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant, or 4 years’ experience in a customer service field
    • English and German language fluency required
