Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond


The Private Wealth Management (PWM) business provides end to end Investment Management services and advice across a large range of asset classes for high net worth individuals. PWM leverages a global technology platform offering, an integrated suite of tools, and applications to onboard and service clients. Our software helps realize a client’s goals and objectives, develops and implements an integrated wealth management plan, and delivers first-class client service.


In Private Wealth Management, we help our clients pursue their wealth management goals through careful advice & astute investment management. We work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families and select foundations and endowments to develop wealth and investment management strategies. We then identify investment opportunities to help them reach their objectives. We complement these services with robust execution capabilities and attentive client service. PWM Design is responsible for building a strategic platform to deliver client experiences through digital channels. 


PWM Design is looking for a highly-motivated, versatile creative technologist to join our UI design team and help move forward the division's design strategy through the continued development of our application frameworks and components. This role will sit within the design team with an overall objective of helping to bridge the gap between design, technology, and research. He/She should be very experienced with creating HTML/CSS interactive prototypes and specifications that are used to conduct iterative user research, sell through ideas to internal stakeholders, and used by the development team as production ready front end code. He/she will have a very strong design sense, be able to recognize and produce great designs, and collaborate productively with user experience designers on the team. The creative technologist will have made it a habit to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, will bring this continually-evolving knowledge to bear in his/her role, and use it to drive the team's tech strategy. He/she will be outgoing and willing to dive into the team's discussions, voice opinions, back them when challenged, and collaborate with teammates to build consensus.


How you will fulfill your potential

  • Act as hands on developer to develop, test & deploy UX components
  • Develop rich & interactive UI
  • Building well-structured front end code following industry best practices.
  • Turn static designs from Sketch and InVision into high-quality, responsive layouts and interactive specifications that including motion design.
  • Work with designers and product owners to quickly define and build prototypes of new and speculative features.
  • Be proactive managing and prioritizing the workload and requests coming in to a very lean team.
  • Help build the design system, UX/UI patterns, animation library, and spec sheets.



  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Professional React/AngularJS development experience
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
  • Familiarity with JavaScript testing tools and methods (Karma, Jasmine, Protractor)
  • Solid understanding of the web development process from the layout/user interface to services layer
  • Experience creating responsive HTML5 GUI's
  • Excellent object oriented analysis and design skills
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance
  • Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences and working globally
  • Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a team
  • Can apply an entrepreneurial approach and passion to problem solving and product development
  • Good understanding of the project lifecycle process, able to define a comprehensive solution leading towards a common vision
  • Strong communication problem solving and presentation skills, including experience working with cross functional and geographically distributed development teams and business users.
