    The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.




    The CIMD Marketplace team is a product organization composed of talented and passionate product managers, designers and engineers currently building tools and technologies that are transforming the traditional product selection, purchase and post purchase experiences of financial and non-financial products. We aim to create both self-directed and advisor led Marketplace capabilities in a scalable, automated and personalized manner.

    Are you looking to apply your analytical and creative skills to deliver positive and frictionless digital customer experiences? We are looking for product managers to join the Marketplace team and help build consumer self-directed and advisor led Marketplace journeys on an end-to-end e-commerce platform. Ideal candidate has past e-commerce experience, understands consumer buying behavior, is data driven, resourceful and detail-oriented with prior experience as a product manager on an agile team. The candidate should be a self-starter and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, change and being able to collaborate closely with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.

    • Work alongside design, engineering, marketing, legal, compliance, operations and other teams to build delightful, easy-to-use features that help meet customer’s financial, household and lifestyle needs
    • Define, design and build product features by writing user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and groom stories with developers and designers
    • Collaborate and communicate with a broad team of cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring all viewpoints are accounted for and that solutions meet all necessary requirements
    • Use data, user research and a test and learn approach to inform decisions and continually optimize products
    • Maintain continuous focus on crafting and adjusting designs to simplify product discovery, evaluation, purchase and post purchase engagement
    • Collaborate with other product managers and designers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall customer experience
    • Own and prioritize a product backlog—using data to make informed tradeoffs between new feature development, platform investment and user issues/feedback


    • 3+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced, agile product development environment
    • Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time with a high degree of quality
    • Proficient in major design, development and project management applications (i.e., Sketch, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
    • Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes, documenting workflows and edge cases, and communicating solutions with clarity
    • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork
    • Excellent attention to detail and communication / presentation skills


    • MBA with 3-8 years’ product management experience in a fast paced, agile product development environment
    • Experience in ecommerce, preferably with broad knowledge around customer buying behavior, propensity to purchase, engagement, managing complex product and vendor portfolio at scale etc.
    • Experience with financial products/services (including but not limited to: consumer lending, mobile banking applications, deposits, tax preparation etc.)
