  • MORE ABOUT THIS JOB

    SECURITIES

Our core value is building strong relationships with our institutional clients, which include corporations, financial service providers, and fund managers. We help them buy and sell financial products on exchanges around the world, raise funding, and manage risk. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with a passion for the markets, with individuals who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and are energized by a bustling trading floor.

    What We Do

We are an algorithmic trading team responsible for executing orders in futures and government bonds. Our clients are both external and internal to the firm including hedge funds, asset managers and the Goldman commodities, interest rates and equities trading desks. Our main job is to design, build and maintain trading algorithms for the products we cover. We also deliver pre-trade and post-trade analytics to clients and meet with them regularly to explain our offering and help them make better execution decisions.

    Your Impact

You will work to improve the performance, flexibility, and reliability of our trading platform. This will include some combination of performing quantitative research to figure out better ways to trade, implementing those research results in the production codebase, writing new algorithms or modifying existing ones to meet client needs, and engineering the trading infrastructure to make it faster and more robust. Clients choose to trade with us or not based on the quality of our execution so you will have a direct impact on business revenue. The team structure is flat and the successful candidate will be able to manage his or her time to have maximum impact.
