    Job Summary & Responsibilities

     

    The Franchise management team is seeking an Analyst/Associate to support senior Equities trading, sales and strats management. The ideal candidate should have a quantitative/technical background, an interest in pursuing a career focused in strategy and financial analysis, and the drive to partner with senior stakeholders to positively disrupt status quo. We develop intuitive and relevant analytics to optimize business leaders' decision making an! d convert data-driven insights into action by embedding those analytics into simple front-line sales and trading workflow tools. 

     

    Franchise managers: 

     

    A successful candidate will:

    • Play a primary role in analysing business performance
    • Work closely with senior Business Managers to develop deep understanding of their franchises
    • Develop dynamic and intuitive desktop tools for senior leaders to manage their business
    • Own expense management initiatives and the cost monitoring process.
    • Drive business initiatives, senior management presentations, regulatory requests and responses to market events. 

     Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Qlikview is a plus
    • Quantitative analytical skills
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Excellent academic record
    • Project management skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
    • Ability to solve problems and explain the ideas that underline them
    • Interest and desire to learn about financial markets 
    • Good understanding of the securities business and derivatives products
