    The Systematic Trading Strategies (STS) group research, design and automate cross asset trading strategies for our clients. As this fast growing business matures, it has become increasingly important to invest in further automation across product creation, execution, client analytics and index governance, in order to enable the business to scale and ensure we offer the best platform in a competitive market place. We are looking for a technical individual to join our London STS engineering team.

     

    Our engineers work closely with trading, sales, structuring to develop solutions in a wide range of work-streams. These include: Development of cross asset, cross regional trade execution and electronic booking capabilities, producing trader workflow solutions to facilitating bulk order entry, automated inventory management, STP client trade bookings, digital product development, creating innovative client solutions through use of web stack and API offering, structuring governance and automation, and developing bespoke workflow processes and tools to facilitate scalable business growth.

     SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Experienced software developer: Java, Python or Slang
    • Good communicator, with experience of working with colleagues and stakeholders across regions
    • Good analytical skills and clear understanding of algorithms and data structures
    • Highly motivated, committed, self-starting and the ability to multi task
    • Prior knowledge of finance is not required but is an advantage

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge of derivatives products and derivatives business
    • Experience in functional / scripted programming
    • Familiarity with modern web technologies
