    OPERATIONS

     

    Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.

     

    YOUR IMPACT

     

    Our Syndicate Operations team is looking for a high performing Analyst that is looking to be challenged and get an opportunity to support the Investment Banking Division.

     

    The NY Syndicate Operations team is tasked with performing a full suite of control functions in support of Equities, Corporate Bond, Municipal Bond, and Structured products issued by the Investment Banking Division.  Responsibilities will include learning daily functions, establishing strong relationships with the business, and participating in key industrialization initiatives.  

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

     

     

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

     

    Effectively coordinate various aspects of deal execution and settlement across IBD syndicate and relevant stakeholders to support the following activities:

    • Deal structuring
    • Trade Booking
    • DTC Eligibility
    • Trade Confirmation
    • Transaction settlement
    • Reporting

     

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

     

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Solid understanding of primary and secondary debt security markets
    • Ability to respond to a changing and dynamic environment while maintaining integrity in our core ideologies of risk management, control and client service
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Self-starter (i.e. after initial managerial direction, candidate is able to develop their own workflow and manage resources accordingly.)
    • Effective time management skills with ability to work in a deadline driven environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proven process re-engineering and analytical skills
    • Ability to effectively and extensively interact with all levels (from entry level analysts through managing directors)
