    The objective of the BUSINESS FINANCE AND SPEND MANAGEMENT groups to:

    1. Deliver a competitive advantage through supply chain by:
    • Leveraging firm's total spend to drive commercial benefits
    • Delivering resilient high performing and globally compliant operations
    • Innovating to enhance and improve the firm's product offering
    • Increasing vendor diversity and adherence to the firm's vendor code of conduct
    1. Focus on those third parties delivering the most material outsourced services
    2. Deliver world class Third Party Risk and Source to Pay (S2P) Technology Process

    The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team sits within the Spend Management and Supply Chain organization. The team's key mission is to proactively identify, manage, monitor and report key TPRM risks in order to enable and challenge risk based decision making in support of the firm's 'One Goldman Sachs' forward strategy.


    Reporting to the global Head of the TPRM third party operational resilience assurance team, this Associate/Analyst level professional will have responsibility for the delivery of TPRM's third party operational resilience assurance capability globally.



    • Being part of the new TPRM third party operational resilience assurance team
    • Implement TPRM operational resilience assurance program for firm critical outsourced activities (and relevant sub-contractors)
    • Act as liaison with firmwide vendor technology and business resilience leadership teams to ensure integrated approach between Vendor Technology Risk (i.e. cyber/info sec), Business Continuity Planning and firm critical third party operational resilience programs
    • TPRM operational resilience assurance liaison for program Risk Partner Framework (e.g. Technology Risk, firmwide BCP)
    • TPRM operational resilience assurance liaison with second line of defense Operational Risk Management and Analysis (ORMA) risk specialist team
      • Co-ordination of TPRM operational resilience assurance program related inquiries from Regulators, Business Units or key stakeholders globally
      • Help co-ordinate TPRM operational resilience assurance content for internal senior forums and business engagement meetings (e.g. Committees, Governance Groups)
      • Support maintenance of TPRM policies, procedures and standards consistent with regulatory guidance (including acting as a Regulatory Update Monitoring System (RUMS) monitor)
      • Provide input into TPRM data strategy
      • Involvement in industry engagement



      • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management, Business etc.)
      • Experience in risk management, third party risk management, or global risk program delivery
      • Experience in working with technology teams on quality assurance testing and/or business continuity testing
      • Strong foundation of third party risks (i.e. vendor, inter-affiliate outsourcing and contingent worker activities)
      • Possess a strong risk and control mindset
      • Highly organized; attention to detail (especially data quality) and excellent follow-through required
      • Knowledge and experience of working with key global regulators
      • Experience with running / contributing to risk management programs within the financial industry or other blue chip organizations
      • Global stakeholder engagement, including ability to coordinate and interact effectively with global colleagues
      • Analytical thinker, able to quickly assess situations, multi-task, prioritize and make observations and linked recommendations
      • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
      • Confident candidate who is an enthusiastic team player
      • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing organization
      • MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
