    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

     

    The Sales Trading Team bridges the gap between research, research sales and the trading and executions side of the business. Covering clients from a trading perspective and have a duel role in facilitating business, taking and executing orders as well as creating and pushing short term trading ideas.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Provide best execution on client orders, work with clients and traders to find a best strategy for the order
    • Facilitate execution by routing orders to execution traders in Australia
    • Execute orders directly on the exchange where appropriate and provide liquidity to customers by finding crosses and capital facilitation
    • Provide customers with market color, news, flow information, and trading ideas as well as other helping with other business requests

     

    Basic Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
    • 5-8 years of relevant experience
    • Cash Equities experience is preferable
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Team player
    • A solid work ethic and a high level of motivation
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong willingness to learn
    • A quick learner with strong financial and analytical skills and outstanding attention to detail
    • Knowledge of Bloomberg and advanced Excel
