    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    This role engages in asset, investment performance measurement, investor level reporting, management of investment liquidity, leading and coordinating quarterly business plan process and presentations, management of existing debt (compliance with covenants and lender deliverables), investment structuring and closing, oversight of strategic partner relationships, and financial analysis to senior management to support and enable strategic capital decisions.  

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and analyze business plan models for determination of asset and investment performance for bi-annual business plans
    • Daily interaction with business teams to help manage active real estate portfolios and influence business decisions that impact investment performance
    • Interact with teams in NY, Asset Management, Controllers, Legal, Tax, and third party consultants
    • Coordinate with Investment and Fund Accounting groups for property capital requirements and financial reporting
    • Calculate and analyze performance returns for bi-annual business plans and prepare leveraged return metrics as well as ad hoc reporting for local and NY business units
    • Compute and determine investment level equity valuations
    • Calculate investment level promote during business plans and dispositions

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university
    • 2+ minimum years of experience in real estate portfolios- valuation & modeling experience preferred
    • Big 4 experience a plus
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment; set prioritization for the team
    • Strong project management skills as well as ability to work collaboratively with peers
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and all Word products
