    CIMD Operations partners within the CIMD Division and across the firm to deliver comprehensive capabilities, solutions and operational excellence in support of the Firm’s global consumer, wealth and asset management businesses. Change Management & Business Intelligence (CMBI) is the team in CIMD responsible for managing global change initiatives for the Division. CMBI is comprised of four distinct functions: Organization Design, Change Delivery, Testing Center of Excellence, and Business Intelligence. The Testing Center of Excellence is responsible for developing, planning, and executing comprehensive software user acceptance testing (UAT) in support of key programs and projects within CIMD. Typical projects span a range of areas including business expansion, digitization, automation, risk & control, and regulatory compliance.



    • Oversee the successful management of the UAT capability spanning across multiple projects/work streams
    • Oversee the successful completion of the regression and release cycles
    • Review and evaluate software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards
    • Post Retrospective Meeting - Gather testing related feedback and determine if solutions needs to be implemented to resolve potential future shortfalls
    • Build new testing assets and capabilities leveraging the latest technology trends in test automation, data analytics and performance engineering
    • Develops and implements software/systems testing standards and procedures, and coordinates testing
    • Coordinates testing of purchased third-party software and/or services to ensure that company standards and end-user requirements are met
    • Create Knowledge management plan for team member and review proficiency levels of testers on team on regular basis
    • Provides guidance and work leadership to junior testing personnel, and may have supervisory responsibilities, mentor test analysts with all testing related activities such as test planning and test case development
    • Execute successful multi location offshore team model to enhance bandwidth and testing cycles
    • Conduct post release verification following a Production deployment
    • Oversee defects to progress on time and stick to defect tracking standards
    • Review environment strategy with tech leads for different testing environment and provide point of view on key infrastructure needs for testing to senior leadership at program and BU level
    • Offer accurate status on defect information and metrics
    • Coordinate with business analysts and development teams to assess requirements and engage in project review and status meetings
    • Demonstrate hands-on Software QA experience in both manual and automated testing while driving the vision, strategy, and planning for manual and automated testing
    • Foster an approach to continuous improvement in all of the testing activities
    • Work closely with software developers to perform early testing on components prior to integration builds
    • Effectively communicate technical information both written and verbally  Work with product, design, and engineering leaders to define best practices, processes and controls
    • Leading and coordinating software development teams in delivering complex software systems
    • Lead special projects to completion; assigns out roles and deliverables to team while working to both develop team members as well as meet project milestones and deliverables


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field and approximately 8-10 years of relevant work experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in delivering products in wealth management and /or banking domain
    • At least 8 years’ experience of software quality assurance experience, to include a minimum of 5 years in a lead role or management position
    • At least 8 years’ experience developing automated and manual testing solutions for front-end, back-end APIs /applications
    • Technical competency experience with Test Strategy & Operating Model Development, Testing Center of Excellence/IT Transformation Program Management, Test Automation Framework Architecture, Agile Test Management, IT Organizational Change Management, Performance Testing Program Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Data Management, IT Life cycle Management or IT Delivery Management
    • Background in software development (preferably Java) and knowledge of OOP principles
    • Strong First and Second Line Management experience
    • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
    • Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, technical designs, and strategy
    • Experience writing, maintaining and executing automation tests using frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG Selenium or similar
    • Knowledge and application of risk analysis in QA process, including documentation
    • Ability to manage conflict and quickly develop strategies for resolution
    • Ability to systemically approach strategic planning
    • Experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria
    • Proven knowledge of different software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automation tools


    • 8 plus years of Quality assurance and testing methodologies experience (Waterfall, Agile etc.)
    • Proficient with Quality Center/ALM, QTP/Selenium, JIRA, Load runner
    • 8 plus years of experience with Functional, UAT, Automation, Mobile, Performance testing
    • Experience with Test Design optimization tools like CA ARD, Hexawise or similar
    • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architecture
    • Relevant industry certification such as HP ALM, Agile certifications, ISTQB, PMP or other specialized IT certifications
    • QA Management experience across multiple projects, off-shore and in-house
    • Be a strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the company’s QA and UAT processes and strategies
    • Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment
    • Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized best practices
    • Able to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring out the best out of each individual
    • Excellent communicator, influencing skills and negotiation skills to get management buy-in on ideas and concepts
    • The ability to prioritize work and tasks under pressure
    • Ability to handle conflict effectively
    • Ability to build, implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain the quality of delivery
