    Client Portfolio Solutions Vice President, Hedge Fund Product Specialist

    The AIMS Client Portfolio Solutions team is responsible for managing client interactions across the AIMS investment strategies. These responsibilities include identifying and researching prospective investors, communicating the role and performance of traditional and alternative investments in client's portfolio, and working with clients and the AIMS investment teams to develop unique solutions. Functionally, the Vice President role is a client facing position responsible for the day-today engagement with and servicing of clients with a focus on all matters related to the external hedge fund manager offerings, both commingled and customized solutions.


    The team works closely with other areas of AIMS and the broader firm including Private Wealth Management, Institutional Sales, Global Portfolio Solutions, AIMS Risk Management & Analytics, Client Service teams, Fund Accounting/Controllers, Operations and Technology, Legal and Compliance.


    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Act as day-to-day contact for all matters related to AIMS managers and products in the hedge fund space for Private Wealth Management, both internal client advisors and end clients
    • Drive the fundraising and investor relations activities with respect to hedge fund offerings for Private Wealth Management clients
    • Manage communication and platform wide updates with internal sales and distribution channels regarding AIMS managers and Funds
    • Assist with portfolio construction and implementation of new manager allocations across a wide range of asset classes and clients
    • Communicate to prospective and existing clients related to investment performance, portfolio exposures, concentrations, and manager developments
    • Coordination and creation of ongoing client deliverables as well as new business development activities, including new products and offerings
    • Assist with the creation of product profiles, pitch books and other marketing materials focused on AIMS services, products and performance
    • Actively assist in AIMS-wide initiatives and projects


    • 8-10 years or more of experience in client engagement, relationship management, portfolio management, manager research, and/or institutional consulting within the hedge fund space
    • Experience with Private Wealth Management clients is preferred but not required
    • CFA and/or CAIA preferred
    • Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated and demonstrate a willingness to take on more responsibility
    • Excellent technical, communication, sales and interpersonal skills; demonstrated experience in crafting and refining sales scripts and presentation materials, comfortable presenting to investors in person as well as through carefully crafted materials
    • Strong organizational skills to oversee production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes, often including multiple! simultaneous projects
    • Attention to detail – proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy
    • Knowledge and understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word and adaptability to other internal systems
    • Strong interest in capital markets, asset management, and understanding of traditional and alternative asset classes​
