    CONSUMER (MARCUS BY GOLDMAN SACHS)

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Strategic Engagements is responsible for sourcing, engaging and building upon third party relationships for Marcus across various business lines in an effort to generate bottom-line savings and accretive solutions. This team offers a unique opportunity to strategically guide third party engagements for a new consumer digital finance brand in the industry. As a member of the team, you will develop consumer finance industry knowledge at the vendor level, refine your risk management and contract negotiation skills and learn to manage third party risk for Goldman Sachs. Joining this team will give you the opportunity to shape the future state of the firm’s innovative consumer-facing businesses while strengthening your knowledge of the industry.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
    • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
    • Must be able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasks
    • Thrives in a sometimes hectic, high pressure environment
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Maintains consultant database by entering new and updated consultant information
    • Prepares consultant data reports
    • Establishes entry priorities
    • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
    • Verifies entered consultant data by reviewing, correcting, or updating data proactively
    • Follows up with necessary teams to ensure all data entry requests are approved and actioned timely
