The Marquee team at Goldman Sachs is responsible for delivering digital products to our institutional client base. We design and build highly scalable web platforms that provide access to Goldman Sachs content, portfolio analytics, risk, and execution services. These tools help to transform and simplify client experiences while generating new revenue streams and business models for a leader in global financial markets. Marquee is a product driven team, composed of talented and passionate product managers, designers, and engineers working to change the expectation of institutional finance.
As a strategist within Marquee, you will be expected to deliver Goldman Sachs’ research, data and pricing to customers, using Marquee’s APIs and web-delivered applications. Determining client requirements will require interaction with customers of Goldman Sachs, in addition to traders, sales people and fellow strategists across all lines of business. Delivering best-in-class solutions will necessitate leveraging your strengths in software engineering and knowledge of valuation and risk management, across all asset classes.
You will work in a diverse, energetic team of talented and experienced individuals, drawn from a mixture of financial and technological backgrounds. In addition to implementing solutions to client requirements, you will be a part of identifying new business opportunities and sources of revenue for Marquee products.

Duties: Associate-Intermediate/Vice President with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, NY. Develop Java applications for the Futures Clearing Trading Team on global distributed platform. Interface with internal clients/end users and other development teams. Translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered business applications based on object oriented design. Involvement in the complete project life-cycle-analyze, design, develop, test, install and maintain information systems. Implement testing for all the applications supported by the team. Maintain high level of quality for any releases to production. Analyze and implement performance enhancement for our Java applications. Demonstrate proficiency in Java, Sybase, DB2, and Unix. Engage in code review of team members and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Ensure team is following development best practices. Duties: Associate-Intermediate, VP with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Salt Lake City, UT. Work as an application developer, designer and analyst on a global team responsible for Cash Equity, Listed Derivative and FICC middle office booking functions that are integral to the Firm�s Private Wealth Management division. Work closely with Technology, Business, and Compliance on the implementation effort of a strategic booking platform using technologies such as Java/DB2/C++, C# and Scala. Work closely with business, operations, compliance, and other federation stake holders on an on-going basis to manage production support, manage expectations and work out detailed scope, design and delivery of their functional tasks. Write software code to support growing business needs to drive scale and improve operational efficiency and new regulatory controls. Responsible for full life cycle of development, from initial analysis and requirements gathering with users, through design, development, Quality Assurance testing and production release. Work on a global software development team and communicate status/design effectively across multiple regions.
