The Investment Grade Capital Markets Group within the Investment Banking Division is looking for a Vice President with current Investment Grade Capital Markets banking (or related) experience to join the team in San Francisco.
OUR IMPACT
Our Investment Banking Division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.
Our Investment Grade Capital Markets Group advises investment grade rated corporations and governments on capital structure across debt, hybrid, derivative and equity-linked products. The group works closely with classic investment banking as well as the associated product groups to execute investment grade financings. The group also works closely with the Syndicate desk, which sits between capital markets, banking and sales and trading, and is responsible for marketing, pricing and distributing new corporate bond, hybrid and preferred stock US-dollar issues for companies around the world.

Description of Corporate Treasury
Corporate Treasury works closely with the CFO, Treasurer and other members of senior management to manage the firm's financial resources and structural balance sheet positioning. The department also manages key relationships with external stakeholders and regulators, and plays a significant role in strategic initiatives across the firm.
Asset Liability Management and Portfolio Strategy
The ALM and Portfolio Strategy function sets incentives related to funding costs across the firm and manages the structural interest rate and currency risks generated by the firm’s asset-liability profile.

The Data Lake team is building the firmwide data repository for Goldman Sachs. Details of This Role
Core Engineering provides desktop, mobile and developer environments; shared infrastructure; quality and reliability frameworks; data architectures; and technology risk services for Goldman Sachs and its 10,000+ engineers. Within Core, the Outreach and Engagement team develops tools and processes for sharing technical information. Working with teams from across Engineering, we oversee development of the engineeringCentral knowledge platform and the Engineering site. As curators, we ensure that key products are discoverable and well-understood, that high-quality documentation and training materials are available, and that shared practices are communicated effectively.
We are looking for Developer Advocates/Technical Communication Leads who will align with one or more Core pillars to support end users and developers with products and practices. Developer Advocates are responsible for overseeing all forms of documentation—from developer guides, tutorials and API references to articles, presentations and training courses—and also play a key part in representing their pillar(s), assisting developers and end users from across the firm, and influencing the evolution of our Core platforms.
