The Market Data Index License Specialist sits within the Market Data Vendor Management team at Goldman Sachs and will be responsible for validating usage rights and commercial terms for all index data approvals as well as negotiating index licence terms with our vendors. At Goldman Sachs, we are at the forefront of driving industry change in digital rights and are building a Digital Rights Management (DRM) platform to revolutionise Data Licensing. The Market Data Index License Specialist will be central to this change. The successful candidate will also have a unique opportunity to work alongside the business, specifically the STS (Systematic Trading Strategy) team who develops, implements and maintains systematic trading strategies. The role will offer exposure to a broad array of products as well as many different aspects of the business from a commercial and licensing perspective. The EMEA Engineering Chief of Staff team is a critical part of the regional Engineering management team. The Chief of Staff Team is comprised of the chief of staff (CoS) and a team responsible for driving the execution of strategic priorities as defined by the regional Technology leadership team, divisional communications, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), regulatory interactions, and external outreach. As an integral part of the Asia Pacific IBD Compliance team, you will work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment with other Compliance team members and other Goldman Sachs departments, including Legal and Internal Audit, Conflicts Resolution, Finance, Human Capital Management and Operations, to address an array of business, legal and regulatory matters encountered by the Investment Banking Division across the Asia Pacific region. Unix Engineering is a global team that architects and manages the Linux, Virtualization, and Server Hardware computing platform at Goldman Sachs. The Unix engineering team works closely with application developers and strategists to build and deploy technology solutions at Goldman Sachs.
The team currently supports an internal cloud platform, is developing solutions for deploying applications on public cloud offerings, and is releasing a next-generation compute platform. The Linux System Engineer role is responsible for supporting business units' compute requirements and maintaining core infrastructure systems. This includes topics such as system configuration management, performance testing and tuning, and application and service troubleshooting.
Linux System Engineers also delve into new technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, SaltStack, OpenShift and more), understanding how each can be introduced and engineered to support the continued evolution of our highly-scalable compute platform.

Retail Loans Engineering supports origination and trading of residential loans, commercial real estate loans, and consumer loans. The successful candidate will develop technology solutions for the Middle Office Loan Servicing operations team. This operations team is based in Dallas. In Hong Kong we are looking for a contentious lawyer to work in the Litigation and Regulatory Group. The Litigation Group manages litigation, arbitration, regulatory and other proceedings involving the firm, and is part of the wider Asia Pacific Legal department, liaises closely with the London and New York Litigation practice area and works closely with all areas and level of personnel within the firm globally. The caseload derives from all aspects of our Asia Pacific operations including investment banking, securities trading and investment management.
System Monitoring Engineering team builds software to provide Linux system admins and application developers visibility into our large scale distributed Linux infrastructure spread across our own datacenters and various cloud providers AWS, Google and Azure. The team responsible for collecting performance indicators to pro-actively detect degradation and issues on primarily Linux platform which includes both Kubernetes based plant and classic Linux plant. An engineer in this role is responsible for designing and developing software solutions and integrating with industry leading open source solutions as well as vendor products.
