Goldman Sachs Technology Risk is leading threat, risk analysis and data science initiatives
that are helping to protect the firm and our clients from information and cyber security risks. Our team equips the firm with the knowledge and tools to measure risk, identify and mitigate threats and protect against unauthorized disclosure of confidential information for our clients, internal business functions, and our extended supply chain.
GLOBAL RISK MEASUREMENT & ANALYTICS identifies control weakness, adherence to regulatory requirements, and allows for the continuous control monitoring of individual key performance indicators that demonstrate the value of information security. This program
leverages tools and modeling to ensure technology policies and standards address critical risks and adequately address regulatory expectations throughout the Firm.
Candidate will be responsible for understand technology data from across the organization, modelling and loading into the lake, and produce quality measures / metrics from it that adhere to control standards and thresholds.

Ensures business continuity and technology resilience by safeguarding Goldman Sachs from major operational disruptions through preventative
measures including business planning, capability design,
and the testing of mitigants.
Technology Risk Advisory delivers best in class advisory support and technology solutions across the Information Security risk domains, including scalable uplifts of common core security solutions for use across Goldman Sachs and conducting cyber risk assessments. We are looking for a strong candidate to focus on in house infrastructure projects.

Innovations in web, mobile, social, and workplace technologies are changing the way we work with our clients. The Collaboration & Productivity Engineering team is looking for an experienced engineer with strong technical depth to focus on Microsoft products, specifically Skype and Teams in addition to SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online. Key Responsibilities:• Architecture and engineering of Microsoft Skype for Business Server and Client deployed in an Enterprise environment including integration with on-prem Exchange and Office 365.• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with business application stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure successful upgrades, installations or integration activities.• Ability to assess and solve issues in a high-pressure environment leveraging strong verbal and written communication skills.• PowerShell scripting and system automation.• Provide subject matter expertise and act as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd level support teams.• Architecture and engineering of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint Online deployed in an Enterprise environment.

Controllers - Compensation Accounting
Compensation Accounting’s mission is to ensure that the firm meets the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution. It is responsible for the payment of all salaries, bonus, and other types of remuneration paid to employee of the firm globally; reporting of wages information and processing tax payments to US and international tax authorities. It is also responsible for the global financial accounting and reporting of all types of compensation (cash bonus, employee stock and option awards) that need to conform to all accounting requirements, such as US GAAP and IFRS. Specifically, we are responsible for allocation of compensation expense to cost centers and generating disclosures for regulatory reporting.
The Compensation Accounting Engineering team uses a combination of computer science, finance and math skills to build robust, innovative, scalable solutions along with Compensation Accounting controllers. Some of the complexities and challenges this group face include handling extremely sensitive data and functionality, accommodating regional regulation while offering global platform and workflow.

YOUR IMPACT
Are you looking to apply your analysis, stakeholder management and presentation skills in order to ensure the Division responds swiftly and effectively to crisis events? Operations Business Resilience is looking for an Associate capable of directing the Division's immediate response to crisis events and executing in-place recovery protocols. The role is primarily related to the execution of all OBR processes for the region. Additionally the role will involve participating in global OBR initiatives as your knowledge base builds. In this role you will interface with global stakeholders and senior leaders in Operations, Risk, Compliance and the Office for Global Security. OBR sits within the Ops Crisis Response and Resiliency team and other responsibilities may follow related to the wider portfolio of work.
OUR IMPACT
Operations Business Resilience (OBR) leads the division’s business resilience planning and testing, regulatory BCP input and crisis response.
The OBR remit includes planning for as well as recovery from disruptions to Operation’s business as a result of traditional threats (weather, building, political etc), technology threats (cyber, application failure etc) and market disruptions (payment issues, Eurozone crisis etc). The team provides the Division’s 24/7 coverage for crisis response as part of the larger firmwide Immediate Response Team global network overseen by the Office for Global Security. The role includes leveraging key contacts in the division, as well as using personal initiative to ensure appropriate judgement in both planning and crisis recovery. OBR are the Division's contact for firmwide BCP regarding regional firmwide strategy, governance and other initiatives.
OBR initiatives are focused on regulatory issues, risk, efficiency and technology. They include: response to regulatory inquiries, enhancement of cross regional handoff strategy, footprint analysis including analysis of functional and technology concentration risk, consideration of new technology platforms and tools and increased focus on data and risk reporting.

Unix Engineering is a global team that architects and manages the Linux, Virtualization, and Server Hardware computing platform at Goldman Sachs.
The Unix engineering team works closely with application developers and strategists to build and deploy technology solutions at Goldman Sachs. The team supports an internal cloud platform, is developing solutions for deploying applications on public cloud offerings, and is releasing a next-generation compute platform.
The Linux System Engineer role is responsible for supporting business units' compute requirements and maintaining core infrastructure systems. This includes topics such as system configuration management, performance testing and tuning, and application and service troubleshooting. Linux System Engineers also delve into new technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, SaltStack, OpenShift and more), understanding how each can be introduced and engineered to support the continued evolution of our highly-scalable compute platform.
