In Internal Audit, we ensure that Goldman Sachs maintains effective controls by assessing the reliability of financial reports, monitoring the firm’s compliance with laws and regulations, and advising management on developing smart control solutions. BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW

Our Securities Lending role involves working in a dynamic front-office trading environment as a part of the global team. You'll be responsible for designing, writing, reviewing, testing and implementing a variety of scalable applications leveraging the latest firm wide technologies. The applications we develop include inventory and risk management, calculating client accruals, and facilitating internal/external trading flows. You will undertake development across all tiers of our business-facing systems in a global team. You will be expected to implement and suggest best development practices/methodologies to deliver high quality software throughout the development stack. Our primary technologies are Java and Web development. Our end to end technology stack runs the firm’s Securities Lending business. We build innovative tech solutions for our business, allowing them to serve their hedge fund clients and institutional lenders. High Touch Strats
High Touch Strats are responsible for understanding what drives the business and subsequently designing, implementing, testing, and supporting the systems and strategies to achieve this. Loan Management primarily supports the Securities Division and Investment Banking Division within Goldman Sachs. Loan Management, amongst other things, is responsible for directing and facilitatingdue diligence (at both, the deal and asset levels) for the acquisitions, asset management and sales/securitizations of various types of loan portfolios in the US, EMEA and APAC.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Engage with application and process driven teams to provide timely transparency of engineering and operational data
- Hypothesize, plan and execute exploratory analyses, using data collected from sources throughout the firm
- Develop the teams research agenda by prototyping analytics that measure the effectiveness of technology project controls and that displays financial trends
- Continuous monitoring, alerting and issue tracking and resolution to address violations found in project deliveries
