Client Onboarding Technology is a global, multi-disciplinary team responsible for software products that safely, efficiently, and transparently bring new client relationships into the firm and ensure those relationships remain compliant with all internal and external regulatory policies and firm requirements. Partnering with colleagues from Technology, the Federation and all revenue divisions, COB Tech models all processes from inception through configured-to-trade. Using business intelligence gathered from these models, the team identifies and resolves bottlenecks in the flow though automation - including rules-driven decision making, machine learning, and natural language parsing.

The Control Engineering team is responsible for developing and enhancing control implementations and tooling to allow preventative, longitudinal, bilateral, and detective controls to be supported across the front-to-back architecture across Operations Engineering. We undertake a key role in the architecture of the control platforms, and our success contributes directly to the efficient functioning of the firm's trading and sales operations on a day-to-day basis. The team are responsible for the build out of Event Surveillance, Reconciliation on Data Lake and Self Service Controls platforms - Event Surveillance Platform: Real-time, low latency and high volume detective event streaming control platform to identify trade anomalies. Platform supports controls to requirements traceability, language independent control runtime definition, highly scalable solution integrated with BPMN based exception management. Upcoming enhancements include support for 10X volumes (over 100MM) trade activities per day, data lake integration and cloud based deployment. Platform built with Java 8 Streaming, Kafka, ElasticSearch, REST and many more. - Self Service Controls Platform: Platform to allow users to create, manage, test and deploy controls without needing to engage with the controls engineering team. The product consists of front ends with a visual designer, visual test platform, and deployment panels. These UIs will we be Javascript / Angular / Web 2.0 components, and have a server side written in Java interacting with databases in SQL, ElasticSearch etc. The team is passionate about solving complex technical problems, delivering innovative, resilient and performant systems. As a senior member of our team you will work closely with business and technical colleagues locally in London, Warsaw, New York and Bengaluru, to solve challenging technical problems, and deliver cutting-edge technical solutions to meet evolving business demands.
